Everyone wants to move fast. Fast money. Fast fame. Fast results.
But speed without strategy is a setup for self-destruction.
We live in a generation obsessed with acceleration—people want to skip the process, jump straight to the reward, and call it “success.”
But here’s the truth:being fast only benefits you when you’re moving in the right direction.
The Illusion of the Fast Lane
We’ve all seen it.
People trying to live life in the fast lane—cutting corners, chasing shortcuts, and falling for “get rich quick” schemes.
The problem isn’t their speed; it’s theirlack of discipline and direction.
Like Dr. Myron Golden often says:
“The man walking tries to keep up with the man on a bicycle. Then he gets a bicycle and tries to keep up with a car. Then he gets a car and tries to keep up with a plane.”
The lesson?
You’ll never be fast enough if you’re always chasing someone else’s race.
When Speed Becomes a Snare
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, nearly 46% of inmates are incarcerated for drug-related offenses, many of whom were simply chasing quick money.
Fast cash often comes with slow consequences.
Solomon warned us thousands of years ago in Proverbs 28:20:
“A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.”
Trying to move faster than God’s timing will always cost you more than you expect to pay.
Some people got fast cars and crashed. Others got fast money and lost their freedom.
Speed without structure leads to downfall.
The Smart Way to Be Fast
Now, here’s the flip side—speed itself isn’t bad.
In fact, efficiency is biblical.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 says:
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.”
That means move with excellence, energy, and effectiveness—but also wisdom.
Today, we have tools that can multiply your impact and help you work faster the right way:

People are literally building empires using AI tools, content automation, and subscription-based newsletters.
They’ve learned how to let technology work for them, not against them.
Faith + Focus + Faster Systems
God doesn’t want you to be lazy.
He wants you to befruitful.
Proverbs 21:5 says:
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.”
There’s a difference between being hasty and being efficient.
One cuts corners. The other cuts wasted time.
So ask yourself:
Are you being fast to keep up with people—or fast to fulfill your purpose?
If you’re moving in alignment with God’s plan, then speed becomes a blessing, not a burden.
Legacy Moves at God’s Pace
Legacy isn’t built overnight—it’s built over time.
But if you use the right tools, keep the right mindset, and stay focused on your calling, you can accelerate your impact without compromising your integrity.
So, don’t rush for riches.
Don’t sprint for status.
Instead, move with wisdom, discipline, and divine direction.
Because the goal isn’t just to move fast—it’s to move forward.
And remember…
It all starts with me, so Let It Be Legacy.
