1. If you have been on this earth for any length of time then you know we are all on a spiritual journey.
Now some may choose to go on this journey alone without God. (God has made us free moral agents, which means we all can make our own choices).
Yet as a Christian God is our spiritual guide throughout this life.
For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death (Psalm 48:14).
2. Even with this confirmation brothers and sisters are still falling by the wayside.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them (2 Peter 2:21).
Those who use to run hard for God are now letting up on the gas.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Gal 6:9).
“From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him (John 6:66).
3. Some have given up on God but I’m here to tell you God has not given up on you.
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin (Heb 4:15).
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
Three reasons why God is not through with me yet. God is not through with me yet until I:
Let go of my past
Let God use me
Live faithful until death
